With those words, it has inspired May to start communicating who she is and what she is about, in the field of Make-Up Artistry.

Graduated with a degree in Microbiology from the National University of Singapore (NUS), she went on to hold critical positions in the government sector, moved on to life sciences and went on to achieve outstanding and exceptional results ( she Topped Sales in her company within the 1st year of joining and remained in position) in the pharmaceutical industry in the sales and marketing.

Many were shocked by her move to do make-up after her proven track record in corporate success.

She started her career in make-up artistry and it remains her main niche and focus today. She has also expanded her repertoire to styling and image consultancy.

She is first and foremost a Make-Up Artist as she always maintains.

Being described by clients for her inimitable style of make-up, May Tay is known to adapt make-up styles and trends effortlessly to suit the unique features of individual clientele . Attention to details and blending are her strong suit. As she always says ” the devil is in the detail.”

Being in the fashion scene, she is well-versed on trends and what works. She is cued on the big picture and never misses a beat.

Early in her career, May started to do styling in order to illustrate her make-up skills. That has paved a way in the styling arm of her business. Being a stylist has honed her ability to translate make-up according to different lightings and art direction.

Her Aim:
To make Ordinary people look Beautiful 
and make Beautiful people look Impossible.

She does it with her inimitable style of make-up.
